The Jeesal Group are excited to introduce Tom Burns as the new Chief Operating Officer. Tom joins us with a wealth of experience being specially trained in nursing for people with learning disabilities. Tom also has an extensive experience of working in health and social care both in the NHS and the independent sector, managing and developing a range of services throughout his career at Operational, Managing Director and Chief Executive Level.
A Statement from the New Chief Operating Officer
“My role is to lead and manage the day to day operational work of the group. In addition, working with the CEO and members of the senior management team to develop and deliver the long-term plan for the organisation.
My immediate task is to lead and support the team at Cawston Park to achieve a better quality of service for our patients as well as working with all the staff to ensure the hospital is a great place to work. In this area I have a great deal of recent and relevant experience.
I recognise that the service at Cawston Park faces a number of challenges, not least convincing the regulator – the CQC and our NHS and local authority funders, as well as the people in our care that we know what good looks like and that we intend to ensure we deliver an excellent service now and in the future.
Looking to the future we want to create a seamless service that supports all our service users to achieve their personal ambitions and our collective contribution to that aim will be to make a real and positive difference in each individuals life.
One thing is clear, in the short time I have been with the Jeesal Group, we have the people and resources to do great things and I know we will. “
A Message from the Chief Executive Officer

I believe the appointment of Tom Burns marks a distinct chapter in our organisations history. Raising the bar and putting us on track to achieve our vision.”
